Your Wellness Ensemble: EMDR, CBT, and Artistic Understanding

Hi there! I'm Jenny. I believe healing happens best in a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and safe. My approach combines warmth and authenticity with evidence-based techniques to help you process life's challenges and rediscover your inner strength. I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, a scientifically-backed approach that helps your brain naturally process and heal from traumatic experiences. EMDR can be incredibly effective for everything from single-incident traumas to complex childhood experiences, anxiety, depression, and even performance anxiety or perfectionism. What I love about EMDR is how it works with your brain's natural healing capacity – rather than just talking about difficult memories, we help your nervous system actually process and integrate them in a way that reduces their emotional intensity. Many clients are amazed at how much lighter they feel after EMDR sessions. You might find that memories that once felt overwhelming become simply part of your story, without the heavy emotional charge they once carried. Whether you're dealing with recent stressors, childhood experiences, relationship trauma, or anything in between, I'm here to guide you through this transformative healing process. My therapy room is designed to be your sanctuary – a calm, comfortable space where you can explore, process, and heal at your own pace. I work with young adults finding their way in the world, college students managing academic and social pressures, and busy parents seeking support while juggling life's many demands. I'm particularly passionate about helping women reclaim their sense of self and build resilience. My background in musical theater has given me a deep appreciation for storytelling, emotional expression, and the courage it takes to be vulnerable. These experiences inform my understanding of how we all wear different masks and play different roles, and how important it is to have a safe space to simply be ourselves. Understanding that faith can be a crucial element of wellness for many, I'm open to integrating your spiritual beliefs into our sessions if that's important to you. My goal is to tailor our work to your individual needs and preferences. When I'm not in the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two playful bunnies, and our two loving dogs. In addition to snuggling my sweet pets, I enjoy crafting, singing, watching Disney movies, and progressing along my own therapeutic journey. As a National Certified Counselor and LAPC in Pennsylvania under the clinical direction and supervision of Coleen Dixon, I bring a solid foundation in counseling theory and practice, along with a commitment to ethical, evidence-based work to our sessions together.
